You may not be able to tell by looking at us but this handsome blondie here is my brother! Nick and Ashley asked if I would be willing to go to Colorado to capture their intimate wedding with family and a few friends. I instantly said yes and even suggested a second day of shooting of just the two of them.
On Saturday, we went out to Sapphire Point Overlook in Breckenridge, Colorado and took some amazing couples shots of just the two of them. This place was unbelievable. The mountains...the lake...all of it was just breath taking. It was amazing to just laugh and hang out with them. Nick was a total trooper the whole time since his ankle was killing him. We really made this feel like an elopement shoot with just the two of them. I highly suggest this because we get so much more time together to make beautiful images than we do on the wedding day. It also makes the wedding day feel less stressful since those pictures are already out of the way.
Their wedding was on Monday and it was the perfect day. They had a intimate ceremony and reception at The Lodge at Breckenridge in Breckenridge, Colorado. This venue has a huge deck that overlooks the mountains. It was an incredible view. It was very emotional and there were lots of happy tears to be had.
It was really hard to narrow down but check out some of my favorites from these two days:
